Dan Sanabria, Ph.D. (Candidate)

Daniel Sanabria is an AI Research Scientist with a wealth of experience in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and natural language processing, with a primary focus on applying these technologies to the frontier of space exploration. With a solid background in software engineering, data science, and advanced AI techniques, Daniel’s work is grounded in innovative approaches to solving some of the most complex challenges in space robotics.

His current research, as outlined in his dissertation "Traversing Mars: A Rover and AI Experience", explores the integration of AI-driven systems for autonomous operation of rovers and drones on Mars. His research seeks to leverage advanced AI techniques such as machine learning, neuromorphic computing, and quantum computing to overcome the harsh environmental constraints of Mars, such as communication delays, power limitations, and extreme terrain.

The dissertation explores interdisciplinary strategies that combine AI, physics, neuroscience, and engineering to enhance robotic autonomy, focusing on AI’s role in optimizing decision-making processes for Mars-based rovers and aerial drones. Daniel’s work is contributing to the future of autonomous exploration beyond Earth, making AI-driven systems capable of operating independently in extraterrestrial environments.

With over a decade of experience in technology and AI, Daniel is deeply committed to pushing the boundaries of AI and space exploration. Brendan Zanetti is a seasoned Vice President of Public Affairs with a proven track record in public relations, marketing, and communications. Based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, Brendan brings years of experience driving strategic marketing and public affairs initiatives across diverse industries, including automotive, retail, and finance.

With a strong background in managing regional marketing efforts, Brendan excels at building and executing creative strategies that amplify brand presence and engage target audiences. His expertise spans public affairs, social media marketing, and creative brief development, making him an expert in cultivating meaningful relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Currently serving as a Vice President of Public Affairs, Brendan has a wealth of experience leading public affairs strategies for large-scale, mission-driven organizations. He has previously held leadership roles in regional marketing and marketing communications, managing initiatives across a wide range of regions and industries.

Brendan’s commitment to excellence is reflected in his academic achievements at Pace University, where he earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing.

Ezequiel (EJ) Sanabria, Intern

Ezequiel Sanabria is an enthusiastic Software and Data Engineering intern with a deep passion for coding and a commitment to continuous learning. Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science at Borough of Manhattan Community College, Ezequiel is dedicated to expanding his skills and making a smooth transition into the professional tech industry.

As an intern at Type 3 Innovations, Ezequiel has gained hands-on experience in web and app development, focusing on technologies such as Power Pages, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint Online. His work includes building websites, automating workflows, managing data, and creating visual reports, all under the guidance of senior engineers. These projects have given Ezequiel valuable insights into real-world software and web development, further enhancing his growing technical skill set.

With a solid foundation in programming languages like Python, PowerFX, HTML, and CSS, Ezequiel is also expanding his expertise in cloud technologies, particularly Azure and Power Platform. His drive for learning and self-improvement keeps him eager to take on new challenges and deepen his understanding of software development.

Outside of coding, Ezequiel enjoys skateboarding, gaming, cooking, reading, writing, and staying active through fitness. He believes in maintaining a balanced lifestyle, as diverse interests often spark creative solutions to technical challenges.
